Kiharu Member of Parliament (MP) Ndindi Nyoro has been forced to explain his past post featuring Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) leader, Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo, after huge criticism.
Nyoro posted Dagalo on X with the caption “We are Africans and Africa is our business.” Drawing much attention from X users since the RSF leader is accused of coordinating attacks in the ongoing Sudan war.
Even though Nyoro deleted the post, screenshots of it are still circulating on social media.
Nyoro went ahead to reshare another post he made around the same period of Sudan’s de facto leader and Army Commander General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
In a post on X on April 23, 2023, Nyoro stated, “Lieutenant General, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the de facto ruler of Sudan and Sudanese Army Commander.”

Nyoro defended himself, saying that the two posts were purely for information purposes after the Sudan war started.
He explained that he shared the posts at the same time to serve that purpose only.
“Wadosi wangu, msisahau hii pia. The posts were purely for informational purposes on who the main actors in Sudan are (were) after the war broke out. Both posts were done at the same time for only that purpose,” Nyoro said.
