The National Police Service (NPS) has announced the recruitment of Police Constables into the Service.
In a notice dated November 5, NPS stated that the recruitment exercise will be conducted on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the designated recruitment centers.
Applicants shall be required to meet the following minimum requirements:
a) Be a citizen of Kenya.
b) Hold a Kenya National Identity Card.
c) Age: 18-28 years.
d) Minimum grade in KCSE D+ (with a minimum of D+ in English or Kiswahili).
e) Be physically and medically fit.
f) Minimum Height: Male 5ft 8in., Female 5ft 3in.
g) Have no criminal record or pending criminal charges.
h) Female Candidates must not be pregnant at recruitment and during the entire training period.
“National Youth Service (NYS) graduates who meet minimum entry requirements are encouraged to apply,” NPS said.
NPS clarified that the recruitment drive is free and open to all eligible and qualified candidates.
The Service said engaging in bribery or any other form of corrupt practices with the intent to influence the recruitment process constitutes a criminal offence.
“Any person who willfully gives to the National Police Service any information which is false or misleading in any material particular commits an offence and will be prosecuted. Members of the public are urged to report any recruitment malpractice to the nearest police station or reach out via our toll-free numbers: 999, 911, 112, and #FichuakwaDCI 0800722203. All reports shall be treated with confidentiality,” NPS said.

Interested and qualified applicants are required to download and fill the prescribed application form available on any of the following websites: www.nationalpolice.go.ke, www.kenyapolice.go.ke, www.administrationpolice.go.ke, www.dci.go.ke, and www.mygov.go.ke
Forms may also be obtained from the nearest Huduma Centres.
Upon filling the forms, applicants must present themselves at the designated Recruitment Centres with original and copies of the following documents on the day of the recruitment:
a) Academic certificates and testimonials.
b) Kenya National Identity Card.
c) Birth Certificate.
d) NYS discharge certificate, where applicable, with a minimum rating of ‘GOOD’ in conduct.

“NYS graduates who meet the minimum entry requirements are encouraged to present themselves at their respective home recruitment centres. All original documents will be returned to the applicant before leaving the recruitment centre,” NPS added.
The recruitment process will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at all the recruitment centres listed below nationwide.
All applicants must be at their respective recruitment centres by 8:00 am.
