Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has made changes in the County Executive.

In a statement on November 19, Sakaja said Geoffrey Mosiria has been moved from the Environment sector to the Citizen Engagement and Customer Service.

Mosiria has been replaced by Hibrahim Otieno, who was previously heading the department of Medical Facilities.

Zipporah Mwangi was heading the Citizen Engagement and Customer Service docket, has been moved to the City Culture, Arts, and Tourism.

Sakaja Changes

Similarly, Clement Rapudo, who was previously leading the City Culture Arts and Tourism, has now been taken to the Smart Nairobi sector.

Sakaja has reassigned Wilson Gakuya from Smart Nairobi to the sector of Digital Economy and Startups.

Further, Sande Oyolo moves to the Medical Facilities sector from the sector of Digital Economy and Startups.

Godfrey Akumali has been reassigned from the Business and Hustler Opportunities sector to the docket of Housing and Urban Renewal.

Lydia Mathia moves from Housing and Urban Renewal to the Business and Hustler Opportunities sector.

Other Changes

Tony Michael Kimani, who was heading the Social Service sector, has been reassigned to the expanded Social Services and Estate Management.

Dr. Michael Waikenda will lead the Mobility and AG. ICT Infrastructure.

“The changes take place immediately,” Sakaja said.
