The Interior Cabinet Secretary, Kipchumba Murkomen, has condemned violent acts, political goons, and their sponsors during the November 27 by-elections exercise across the country.
In a statement shared on his official X account, Murkomen said all the perpetrators and their sponsors will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
According to him, violence during the election period lowers the reputation of democracy and national stability.
“We have, however, taken note of isolated incidents of violence perpetrated by political goons. Security agencies have already swung into action, and all the perpetrators and their sponsors will be decisively dealt with in accordance with the law,” Interior CS assured.
