CAK Opens New Career Opportunities for Young Professionals and Interns

The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) has unveiled a fresh round of career openings targeting young professionals and graduates interested in gaining practical experience in regulatory and consumer protection work.

The Authority was established in accordance with the Competition Act, CAP 504, with the intention of promoting fair competition and safeguarding consumers from misleading market conduct.

The Authority is recruiting five young professionals across important functional areas.

Each position requires individuals who are ready to contribute to CAK’s mandate of ensuring markets for consumers.

Available Positions

1. Buyer Power – 1 position (Ref: CAK/01.11/2025)

2 . Consumer Protection – 1 position (Ref: CAK/02.11/2025)

3. Enforcement and Compliance 1 post (Ref: CAK/03.11/2025)

4. Mergers and Acquisitions – 1 vacancy (Ref: CAK/04.11/2025)

5 .Legal – 1 position (Ref: CAK/05.11/2025)

The YPP seeks to develop young talent while equipping them with critical regulatory skills.

Internship Programme – 5 Vacancies.

CAK is also providing internship programs to recent graduates seeking industry exposure and practical training in various fields.

Available Internships:

1. Legal Services- 1 post (Ref: CAK/06.11/2025)

2. Consumer Protection 1 post (Ref: CAK/07.11/2025)

3. Enforcement and Compliance – 1 position (Ref: CAK/08.11/2025)

4. ICT – 1 position (Ref: CAK/09.11/2025)

5 .Supply Chain Management – 1 position (Ref: CAK/10.11/2025)

The internship programme is designed to develop skills, improve employability, and support the authority’s operational functions.

Interested and qualified candidates can access detailed job descriptions and application requirements on the CAK website www.cak.go.ke

Applications must be submitted before November 27,2025 at 17: 00 pm. Only shortlisted applicants will

be contacted for interviews.

CAK has pointed out that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
