The 68th Annual Grammy Awards brought together music’s biggest stars for a night of iconic performances, historic wins, and recognition across a wide spectrum of genres.

With 95 categories presented throughout the event, the Recording Academy honored excellence in artistry, creativity, and technical proficiency in the music industry.

The ceremony was held on February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The Grammys’ General Field awards honor the most prestigious achievements across all genres:

• Album of the Year: Debí Tirar Más Fotos-Bad Bunny
• Record of the Year: Kendrick Lamar with SZA- Luther
• Song of the Year: Billie Eilish & Finneas O’Connell- Wildflower
• Best New Artist: Olivia Dean
• These awards represent the highest recognition for artists and recordings across the entire musical landscape.

1.Pop & Dance/Electronic

The Grammys celebrated both established and rising stars in mainstream and electronic music:

• Best Pop Solo Performance: Messy-Lola Young
• Best Pop Duo/Group Performance: Defying Gravity-Cynthia Erivo & Ariana Grande
• Best Pop Vocal Album: Mayhem-Lady Gaga
• Best Dance/Electronic Album: EUSEXUA-FKA twigs
• Best Dance/Electronic Recording: End of Summer- Tame Impala

Hip-hop continued its dominance:

• Best Melodic Rap Performance: Luther- Kendrick Lamar with SZA

3. Rock & Alternative

• Rock and alternative music had strong showings:
• Best Rock Album: Never Enough -Turnstile
• Best Alternative Music Album: Songs of a Lost World-The Cure
• Best Rock Performance & Metal Performance: Winners included Yungblud (for Changes) and Turnstile (for Birds) in their respective categories.

4. Country & Roots

Country music was honored across multiple categories, including:

• Best Contemporary Country Album: Beautifully Broken- Jelly Roll
• Best Country Song: “Bitin’ List”-Tyler Childers
• Best Traditional Country Album: Ain’t In It for My Health-Zach Top
• Best Country Solo Performance: Bad As I Used to Be-Chris Stapleton

 Global Music & African Categories

The Grammys highlighted music from around the world:

• Best African Music Performance: Push 2 Start- Tyla (South Africa)  a major moment for African pop and global recognition.
• Best Global Music Performance: Golden- Huntr/x (from KPop Demon Hunters) marking K-pop’s first win in this category.
• Best Global Music Album and other world music categories spotlighted sounds from multiple cultures.
