Kenyan fashion brand House of Adhis (HOA) has issued a public apology following online criticism over its services and the quality of a dress delivered to a client.
In a statement dated September 12, HOA said it had taken note of complaints circulating on social media and would take full responsibility by replacing the disputed item at its own cost.
It also acknowledged the client’s dissatisfaction with her order and apologised for the inconvenience caused.
“We acknowledge and respect the complaint from our client regarding the order from The House of Adhis and the dissatisfaction that came with it and render our unreserved apology,” the fashion house said.
House of Adhis Promises to Replace Disputed Item
The fashion brand said it would replace the disputed dress without imposing any conditions on the client.
“We wish to take full responsibility as The House of Adhis by offering, without any conditions attached, to replace at our cost the disputed item within a reasonable time,” read part of the statement.
House of Adhis also apologised to the client for the inconvenience and said it remained committed to maintaining its relationship with its customers.

The apology follows complaints from a client who took her concerns on TikTok after receiving a dress she said did not match the design she had ordered.
The client claimed she had paid Ksh15,000 for the dress and shared images showing the design she expected alongside the item she received.
According to the client, there were differences between the advertised design and the final dress, with concerns raised over its fitting, finishing, and overall appearance.
She also accused the fashion house of unprofessionalism and claimed that the agreed timeline for delivery was not met.
The client further raised concerns about communication during the process, saying she was dissatisfied with how the matter was handled.
She said she was considering legal action over the dispute, although she acknowledged that pursuing the matter in court might not be financially worthwhile given the value of the dress.
Previous Complaint Resurfaces Amid Fresh Backlash
The latest controversy has also renewed discussions around a previous complaint involving media personality Mwalimu Rachel.
Mwalimu Rachel had previously spoken about experiencing delays with a dress she had ordered from House of Adhis, with the outfit reportedly not ready as her event approached and fittings yet to be completed.
At the time, the fashion house also attracted support from some members of the public, who praised its designs and work.

“We remain committed to the thousands of clients who have trusted our brand, continue to order from us, and believe in our work. We promise to always hold the highest standards of professionalism in our work, as they hold us accountable,” the statement read.
