KICD Advertises Multiple Jobs on Permanent and Pensionable Terms

The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) has advertised 17 vacancies for qualified professionals seeking employment on permanent and pensionable terms.
The advertised positions cover media, security, human resource management, administration, printing and publishing, quality assurance, supply chain management, and curriculum development.
KICD has advertised positions across various departments and job grades to meet its staffing needs, with each position carrying one vacancy. The available positions include:
- Senior Deputy Director, Corporate Services – Grade 2
- Senior Deputy Director, Research, Quality Assurance and Consultancy – Grade 2
- Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development – Grade 3
- Assistant Director, Printing & Publishing – Grade 4
- Assistant Director, Quality Assurance – Grade 4
- Assistant Director, Supply Chain Management – Grade 4
- Assistant Director, Technical Services (Re-Advertisement) – Grade 4
- Principal Security Officer – Grade 5
- Principal Human Resource Management and Development Officer – Grade 5
- Principal Producer (TV) – Grade 5
- Principal Planning Officer – Grade 5
- Principal Officer Administrator – Grade 5
- Assistant Studio Technical Operator III – Grade 9
- Assistant Printing & Publishing Technician III – Grade 9
- Curriculum Development Officer II, Marine and Fisheries Technology (Re-Advertisement) – Grade 8
- Curriculum Development Officer, Media Technology (Re-Advertisement)

KICD Required Documents
In addition to meeting the qualifications for the advertised positions, applicants must submit the required documents and personal details.
Each application must include:

- Relevant testimonials
- National Identification Card details
- Current mobile telephone number(s)
- Names, telephone numbers and addresses of two referees

Meanwhile, KICD has set October 9, 2026, as the deadline for submitting applications.

Recruitment Conditions
In addition to the application requirements, KICD also outlined conditions governing the recruitment process, including restrictions on canvassing and the shortlisting of candidates.
The institute encouraged persons with disabilities and candidates from marginalised groups to apply for the advertised positions.
“Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification. Persons with disabilities and candidates from marginalized groups are encouraged to apply,” it stated.
