Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) Moses Kuria has bowed out of the Nairobi Gubernatorial race.
In a statement on Sunday, February 1, Kuria said he has registered as an aspirant to run for Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) on a UDA ticket
“I’ve registered as an aspirant to vie for Gatundu South MP on the UDA ticket,” he said.
Earlier, Kuria announced his intentions to run for Nairobi Gubernatorial sear with Makadara MP George Aladwa as his running mate.
In a poster on his social media platforms, Kuria said their push to transform Nairobi is not driven by tribal affiliations or political parties, but by a shared concern for the city and its residents.
He noted that their team understands the challenges Nairobians face daily and possesses strong local, regional, and global networks capable of delivering solutions.

Because we have local, regional, and global networks to fix Nairobi. Because we have many years of combined leadership and managerial experience, because we are not tribal, because we have what it takes to MAKE NAIROBI WORK AGAIN,” Kuria said.
