Nadia Mukami Confirms Breakup with Arrow Bwoy

Kenyan singer Nadia Mukami has confirmed that she has parted ways with fellow musician Ali Yusuf, popularly known as Arrow Bwoy, marking the end of their relationship.

In a statement, Nadia revealed that the decision to separate was made after months of difficulty, noting that the relationship had been unstable for about one and a half years.

She added that the breakup was not easy for either of them, especially because they share children.

“Over the past few months, I made the difficult decision to go our separate ways with my partner. This has not been an easy journey for either of us, especially because we were not only partners in life, but also parents to young children who mean the world to us,” she said.

Nadia also opened up about the emotional and mental strain she has experienced, saying the transition has deeply affected her as a mother balancing parenting, healing, and a demanding career in the public eye.

She described the past period as one of the hardest in her life, citing postpartum struggles, raising a young child, and managing personal and professional responsibilities simultaneously.

“I have been battling postpartum, a new baby, a failed relationship, a toddler, public image, business & career,” Nadia stated.

Despite the separation, Nadia highlighted that they remain committed to co-parenting their children with love, respect, and maturity.

She further stressed that their priority is to ensure their children grow up in a peaceful and stable environment filled with unconditional love from both parents.

Nadia’s Relationship With Arrowboy

The couple started on what would become a whirlwind romance on a purely professional friendship, collaborating on the smash hit ‘Radio Love’ sometime in 2019.

Arrow Bwoy, who addressed the tale of how they met via an Instagram live, claimed that despite being in the friend zone, he kinda figured out that they had some chemistry going on.

In a separate interview, Nadia would echo Arrow Bwoy’s sentiments, maintaining that the two were in a professional engagement.  Or was it?

However, following long periods of speculation, Nadia and Arrow Bwoy finally revealed that they were dating in August 2021.

The couple is blessed with two children, Ameer Kiyan Ali, born in 2025, and Haseeb Kai, born in 2022.
