Nairobi will soon join the league of some of East Africa’s most active business and investment hubs towards the end of July as the 11th China Trade Week (CTW) Kenya makes a return to the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on 22-24 July 2026.

The three-day event will take place at the same time as the 6th Africa Technology Show, 4th Africa Build Show Kenya and 3rd MEGAWATT Africa and will gather manufacturers, investors, technology companies, policymakers, suppliers and buyers from all over Africa and elsewhere.

As per the organizers of the events, the exhibitions will provide one of the largest B2B and B2G platforms in the region.

Event discovery platform Westlandsconnect, which unveiled the exhibition, revealed that the exhibition would reinforce the status of Nairobi as one of Africa’s major commercial hubs while at the same time offering investment and partnership opportunities.

“For three days, Nairobi becomes one of East Africa’s biggest business meeting points. From 22–24 July 2026, the 11th China Trade Week Kenya (CTW Kenya) returns to KICC alongside the 6th Africa Technology Show, 4th Africa Build Show Kenya and 3rd MEGAWATT Africa, creating one of the region’s largest B2B and B2G platforms for trade, technology, construction, energy and investment,” Westlandsconnect said.

Thousands of Delegates Will Participate in the Trade Exhibition

According to the organizers, more than 8,000 trade visitors, over 200 exhibitors, and representatives from more than 20 countries will participate in the exhibition.

“More than 8,000 trade visitors, 200+ exhibitors and representatives from 20+ countries are expected to participate, connecting manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, investors, distributors, procurement professionals, and policymakers from across Africa and beyond,” Westlandsconnect said.

This event takes place in light of Kenya’s ongoing effort to become the most desirable destination for investments in Africa due to its infrastructure development, digitization, and integration into trade within the region.

The CTW Kenya event is organized by the international exhibitions company MIE Events DMCC.

Investment Opportunities for Kenya

According to Westlandsconnect, the significance of the exhibition lies in the fact that it comes at a time when the country’s economy is booming and there is a need for investments in several sectors.

“The timing is significant. Kenya continues to strengthen its position among Africa’s fastest-growing economies, with its economy projected to reach US$419 billion (PPP) by 2026. Major investments, including the US$25B LAPSSET Corridor, US$4.6B Northlands City, ICT expansion, healthcare infrastructure and a growing electronics market, continue to unlock opportunities across manufacturing, technology, construction, energy, healthcare, consumer goods and infrastructure,” Westlandsconnect said.

According to the organizers, the exhibition will offer businesses a chance to source products, find suppliers, showcase innovations and develop partnerships aimed at the larger East African market.

“Whether you’re looking to source products, meet suppliers, explore new technologies, build partnerships or expand into East Africa, this is one of the region’s most important business events of the year,” Westlandsconnect stated.

Details of Event

The exhibition will take place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) located at Harambee Avenue, Nairobi, from 22nd July 2026 to 24th July 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The exhibition is open for visits by trade visitors through free visitor registration, while the event itself is arranged by MIE Events DMCC. Exhibitors cover sectors like technology, manufacturing, construction, renewable energy, and investments.
