Mungai was born on April 6, 2000, in Gachiku village of Murang’a County, where she was raised in a modest Christian home.

She attended local schools for her primary and secondary studies. While in school, she was a leader.

She went to college but later dropped out due to school fees issues. This is when her then-boyfriend, Trevor, pitched an idea of YouTube and content where she would be the face of it.

Career

In October 2020, they posted their first video and continued building their channel until it became one of the fastest-growing channels.

At age 21 in 2021, Mungai revealed that her YouTube earnings had hit Ksh 1.5 million in a month, making her a millionaire at 21.

Her love story with her long-time boyfriend Trevor reached a boiling point in 2023, and they later went their separate ways in 2024.

Their relationship also ended their YouTube partnership of over four years, with Trevor taking Ksh 847,000 and more, plus their channel, while Mungai opened a new channel.

Rebranding

After losing their shared channel in 2024, she launched a new channel, “Mungai Eve Media,” which crossed 50,000 subscribers within two days and 100,000 within about five days, signalling strong personal brand loyalty and her ability to rebuild an audience in a crowded digital landscape.

After her breakup with Trevor, Mungai said in interviews that she fell into depression because she had lost almost everything that they were building with Trevor.

She later got back on her feet and started again, with many of her fans and followers backing her up by following her on her new channel.

Mungai has worked with many brands and also grown her channel so much despite everything that she went through.

Business And Personal Life

Additionally, she had recently launched her own shop for iPhones in Nairobi, Westlands, where she invited fellow influencers to her launch.

Mungai has answered questions in interviews about her love life, and she has disclosed that she is not in a relationship right now.
