According to KRA, the Authority will implement the waiver in accordance with Section 89(5A) of the Tax Procedures Act.
KRA said it will base the waiver on the specific period during which the affected iTax services remained unavailable or intermittently inaccessible.
In addition, KRA said it will undertake the necessary system processes to ensure that penalties and interest attributable to the verified period of system downtime are waived.
