Actor Tom Holland has confirmed that he and Zendaya are married, putting an end to months of speculation surrounding their relationship.
The Spider-Man star revealed the news during an interview with Esquire UK, where he was asked about a series of realistic AI-generated wedding photos of the couple that recently went viral on social media.
When asked whether any family members had mistakenly believed they had missed the wedding after seeing the images, Holland replied: “No, because they were all there. That’s all you’ll get on that.”
His response effectively confirmed that the couple had tied the knot, although he chose not to share further details about the ceremony.
Wedding rumours had been circulating for months
Rumours about a possible wedding intensified earlier this year when Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, appeared to reveal that the pair had already married.
Speaking at the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles, Roach casually told reporters, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it!”
At the time, neither Holland nor Zendaya commented on the claim, leaving fans guessing about the true status of their relationship.
Speculation first began in January 2025 when Zendaya attended the Golden Globe Awards wearing an engagement ring designed by London-based jeweller Jessica McCormack.
Tom Holland: ‘She’s my best friend’
During the interview, Holland opened up about his relationship with Zendaya and explained why their bond means so much to him.
“Our business can present very stressful situations, and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he said.
He added that they are able to support each other because they understand the pressures that come with fame.
“So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”

From co-stars to life partners
Holland and Zendaya first met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. Over the years, they became close friends before eventually confirming their relationship in 2021.
The couple has largely kept their romance out of the spotlight despite being among Hollywood’s most popular stars.
They recently appeared together at a promotional event in Madrid for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, marking one of their rare joint public appearances.

The actor also reflected on his first impressions of Zendaya during the casting process for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
“Obviously, I was super excited at the prospect of working with her and getting to know her,” he said.
“She smashed her audition out of the park and got the part before she’d even left the room. I remember when she closed the door to leave, Amy Pascal was immediately like, ‘Well, she’s getting the job.’”
