The United Arab Emirates has strongly denied reports claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly visited the country and met its leadership during the war with Iran.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the claims are false and urged media outlets to avoid spreading unverified information.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs firmly dismissed reports suggesting that Netanyahu had travelled to the country or held any undisclosed meetings.
It stated that no Israeli military delegation had entered the UAE and no such visit took place.
“The United Arab Emirates categorically denies recent reports alleging a visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or the presence of any Israeli military delegation in the country,” the ministry said.
The UAE stressed that its relationship with Israel remains official, open, and guided by existing agreements.
It said all engagement with Israel happens within the framework of the Abraham Accords, not through informal or secret arrangements.
“The UAE affirms that its relations with Israel are conducted transparently within the framework of the Abraham Accords,” the ministry added.
The accords, signed in 2020, normalised relations between Israel and several Arab states under mediation by the United States.

The UAE government also warned against misinformation and urged the media to verify facts before publishing reports.
It said false claims can damage diplomatic relations and mislead the public.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges media outlets to ensure accuracy and avoid disseminating unverified or misleading information,” the statement said.

The denial comes after reports alleged that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had made a secret visit to the UAE and met senior leadership during regional tensions involving Iran.
UAE insisted that its foreign relations operate transparently through the Abraham Accords and any claims of hidden diplomatic or military activity are unfounded.
