The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) published a list of approved curriculum support materials for Grade 10 students in several areas.

In a public notice released on December 23, 2025, KICD listed the approved textbooks across various learning areas, which include Technology, Science, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for Senior School.

Grade 10 learners are categorized in the Senior School level, which is also the fourth level of Basic Education in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

This stage gives learners the mandate to proceed after the Pre-Primary School, Primary School, and Junior School levels.

Humanities forms a core stream within the Social Sciences pathway, selected by some Grade 10 learners as they move into senior secondary school.

It equips learners with knowledge in understanding the society, governance, and behavior.

Business Studies is a selective subject within the Social Sciences pathway, with a curriculum that emphasizes practical application of business skills rather than purely theoretical learning.
