Police in Machakos County have launched investigations into the mysterious death of a bodaboda rider whose body was discovered under unclear circumstances.

According to officers, the body was found near a bridge between Kenol and Komarock.

“The body was found near a bridge between Kenol and Komarock,” police confirmed on Friday, September 26, 2025.

The deceased reportedly had visible injuries at the time of discovery.

Police said the rider sustained a broken leg, among other marks, raising questions over the cause of death.

The body has since been transported to Machakos Level 5 Hospital mortuary for preservation and further examination.

Authorities indicated that a post-mortem would help determine whether foul play was involved.
