The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced the appointment of twenty-five new Claims Management Officers.
The statement was issued on April 15, 2026, as part of the reform processes taking place within the Social Health Authority (SHA).
The reform process has been initiated under the theme “Bima Bora, Afya Nyumbani.”
Social Health Authority indicated that the twenty-five newly appointed Claims Management Officers were selected following “a competitive and transparent recruitment process that started on 29th July 2025.”
“The Social Health Authority (SHA) is proud to announce the appointment of twenty-five (25) new Claims Management Officers,” reads the press statement.
Among those appointed, Viola Koross will serve as Claims Management Officer I, while Nancy Lenah Khisa and Winnie Nungari Wainaina have been appointed as Claims Management Officers II.

The Authority also named a large cohort assigned to the Dispatch Centre under the Claims Management Officer II designation.
The appointments include Zakaria Abdi Daud, Claudine Chepkorir, Madeline Adhiambo Oduor, Miriam Wayua Muoki, Eddy Gawo Abok, and Stanley Karuga.
Additional appointees include: Mwema Ngunjiri Joseph, Meshack Obwogi, Johannes Werunga Khisa, Teresa Ethron, and Daniel Muthui Wambua.
Further appointments comprise Mohamed Dambi, Francis Agwambo Omondi, Qabale Sharamo Habane, Wilson Mugambi Mithika, Najma Farah Megag, Caren Ambogo Mandoya, Naomi Chepkemei Kosgey, Abdi Kedhie, Sarah Kangai Magenda, Vallary Koech, and Abdirizak Mustafa Sheikh.
As the new recruits will be relied upon heavily to fortify claims management systems, an important component of efficient health sector operations, the Authority emphasized their importance.

“The Board of Directors and Management seize this opportunity to congratulate the newly appointed staff members,” the statement read.
“SHA would like to express its sincere appreciation to all the dedicated staff who have stood by the organization during this crucial transition phase,” SHA added.
