Ruto Leads Nation in Mourning Mother of UDA Top Official

Leaders and friends have sent messages of condolence to the Chairperson of the Chair of Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) and UDA Elections Board Anthony Mwaura following the death of his mother, Consolata Wanjiru Mwaura.

President William Ruto has sent his condolences to Anthony Mwaura following the death of his mother, Consolata Wanjiru Mwaura.

In a message, Ruto described the late Wanjiru as a dedicated leader who loved her community and generously mentored many, touching lives through her wisdom, kindness, and selfless service.

He expressed sympathy to the family, praying for strength and comfort during the difficult time and wishing the deceased eternal rest.

“Our heartfelt condolences to my friend, the Chair of KeRRA and UDA Elections Board, Anthony Mwaura and the entire family on the passing of your beloved mother, Consolata Wanjiru Mwaura. Mama Wanjiru will be remembered for her remarkable leadership, her deep love for her community, and her generosity,” Ruto said.

“She mentored many and touched countless lives through her wisdom, kindness, and selfless service. At this painful time, we stand with you in grief and prayer, asking God to grant you strength and comfort. May Mama’s soul rest in peace.”

Ruto Mourns Chirchir’s Father

This comes a day after Roads, and Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir lost his father, Mzee Edwin Koech.

Ruto condoled with Chirchir and the entire family, praising the late as a dedicated community servant who impacted many lives through his kindness and generosity, and assuring the family of prayers for strength and comfort.

“Our sincere condolences to my friend, Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir, and the entire family on the passing of your father, Edwin Koech. We honour Mzee Koech for a life well lived in service to his community. He touched many lives through his kindness, generosity, and steady guidance,” Ruto said.

Ruto mourned Koech promising to stand with the family while offering prayers for strength and comfort.

“We stand with you in this time of grief and pray for strength and comfort for the family. May he rest in peace,” he said.
