PCEA Reverend Julius Ndumia Found Murdered in Church House

Rev Julius Ndumia of PCEA Tabuga Parish, Lanet, has been found murdered in a church house, and a guard has been injured.

Nakuru Police Commander Samuel Boit says nothing has been stolen, and the motive remains unclear.

Reports indicate that Reverend Ndumis was killed by armed suspects who stormed his house within the church compound on Sunday night.

Bahati Member of Parliament  (MP) Irene Njoki has strongly condemned the murder of Rev. Julius N. Ndumia, describing the incident as brutal and unacceptable.

“I strongly and unequivocally condemn the heinous murder of Rev. Julius N. Ndumia, Parish Minister of PCEA Tabuga Parish. This was a brutal and unacceptable act, and those responsible will not escape justice,” Njoki said.

Police to Investigate Julius Ndumia Murder

She said she had already spoken directly with the Inspector General of Police, calling for immediate, thorough, and conclusive investigations into the killing.

Njoki urged police to act without delays or excuses and ensure all those involved are brought to justice.

“I have spoken directly with the Inspector General of Police, and investigations must be immediate, thorough, and conclusive. There must be no delays, no excuses, and no half measures. The police must act decisively and bring every person involved to book,” she added.

The MP further insisted that residents should not be forced to live in fear, adding that she expects swift and concrete results from security agencies, and that justice must be delivered and made visible to the public.

“Let there be no doubt, I will not allow our people to live in fear. I expect swift, concrete results, and I trust our security agencies to act with the urgency and professionalism this matter demands. Enough is enough. Justice must be delivered, and it must be visible to the public.”
