Rev. Catherine Macharia, Wife of Full Gospel Churches Overseer Bishop David Macharia, Dies

Rev. Catherine Macharia, the wife of Full Gospel Churches Overseer  Bishop Dr. David Macharia, has died.

Her death was announced in a condolence message by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who described the late Rev. Catherine as a devoted servant of God who lived a life of prayer and service to humanity.

Gachagua said he had received news of her passing with great sadness, sending condolences alongside his wife, Rev. Dorcas Rigathi, to Bishop Macharia, the family, and members of the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya.

“I have learnt of the passing on of Rev. Catherine Macharia, Wife of Bishop Dr. David Macharia, General Overseer of the Full Gospel churches of Kenya, with great sadness,” Gachagua said.

Gachagua Praises  Rev. Catherine Macharia Service to God and People

He praised Rev. Catherine for her dedication to the Christian faith and service to society, saying her legacy would continue to inspire many believers.

“Rev. Catherine lived a life of prayer, service to God and humanity. To Bishop Dr. David Macharia, please accept deepest condolences from Rev. Dorcas Rigathi and I at this difficult moment. To the full Gospel church members, we too condole with you and share in the pain and grief you bare,” he said.

“You are all in our prayers; may you receive God’s Grace and strength to accept His will. Rev. Catherine has been called home, where we all belong. May Almighty God rest the Soul of Rev. Catherine in eternal peace and glory be upon her forever.”

Kalonzo’s Condolence Message

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka also sent condolences to Bishop Dr. David Macharia and the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya. after receiving the heartbreaking news.

In a statement, Kalonzo said Catherine mentored many people, leaving behind a legacy that will live for many years to come and inspire generations to come.
