Kenya Airways Announces New Share Registrar Ahead of 2026 AGM

Kenya Airways has announced a change of its shares registrar as part of updates affecting shareholder services ahead of its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
In a notice, KQ confirmed that its share registry functions will move from Custody and Registrars Service Ltd (C&R) to Image Registrars Limited, effective June 1, 2026.
“Kenya Airways PLC (“KQ”) hereby notifies its shareholders, the investment community, and the public that its Shares Registrar will change from Custody and Registrars Service Ltd (C&R) to Image Registrars Limited with effect from 1st June 2026 (the Effective Date),” read part of the notice.
Kenya Airways to Change Share Registrar from June
According to the airline, all share registry-related services will be handled by Image Registrars Limited. These include:
- Share transfers
- Dividend processing and claims
- Issuance and re-issuance of dividend payments
- Share immobilisation services
- General shareholder enquiries
Additionally, Kenya Airways advised shareholders and investors to direct all related queries to the new registrar once the transition takes effect.
“From the Effective Date, all shareholder queries and share registration matters, including share transfers, dividend claims, issuance, cancellation, and re-issuance of dividend cheques or payments, immobilization of shares, and related services, should be directed to Image Registrars Limited.”

KQ highlighted that Image Registrars Limited will operate from its Nairobi offices at Absa Towers, Loita Street.

KQ Reveals New Dates for Annual Meeting
The airline also confirmed that its 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held virtually on June 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., allowing shareholders to participate remotely.
The AGM is expected to review the airline’s performance and provide updates on governance and operational matters.
“The 50th Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on 12 June 2026 at 9:00 a.m.”
