Faith Beatrice has officially announced her resignation from the Safina Party and her immediate move to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Faith Beatrice, who also served as Deputy President of the Safina Comrades Revolutionary Network, said the decision followed deep personal reflection and analysis of her political journey.

Beatrice confirmed her departure from Safina while expressing appreciation for her experience in the party and optimism about her future within ODM.

She framed the move as part of her broader ambition to grow politically and contribute meaningfully to national development, marking a new chapter for the Daystar University president and aspiring diplomat.

“After deep reflection, careful consideration, and thorough analysis of my political journey and aspirations, I wish to officially announce my resignation from the Safina Party and from my position as Deputy President of the Safina Comrades Revolutionary Network,” Faith Beatrice stated.

Resignation From Safina Party

She acknowledged that the decision was difficult but necessary for her personal and political development.

“This decision has not been easy, but it is one I have made with clarity, conviction, and in the best interest of my growth as a young leader and my future political path,” she said.

Beatrice further thanked members and leaders within the Safina Party for the opportunities and experiences she gained during her time in the movement.

“I am grateful for the experiences, lessons, and opportunities I received during my time within the party and the movement, and I hold great respect for everyone I worked with along the way,” she added.

Declares Loyalty to ODM

In the same statement, the student leader formally declared her allegiance to the Orange Democratic Movement, one of Kenya’s largest political parties.

“After careful thought, I have officially made the decision to join the Orange Democratic Movement. I believe this new chapter presents an opportunity for me to continue learning, growing, and contributing meaningfully to leadership, youth empowerment, and national development,” Beatrice stated.

Calls for Democratic Tolerance

Faith Beatrice also addressed the growing political divisions in the country, emphasizing the need for tolerance and respect for differing political opinions.

“At a time when political conversations around one-term and two-term leadership continue to shape public debate in Kenya, I wish to emphasize that we live in a democratic society where every individual has the constitutional right to make political choices freely,” she said.

“People should be respected for supporting what they believe is right for them and for the future they envision for our country,” she added.

She warned against hostility based on political affiliation and urged Kenyans to embrace democratic engagement rooted in mutual respect.

“Politics should never be about hostility because of differing opinions or affiliations. Democracy is strengthened when citizens are free to think independently, engage respectfully, and associate with leaders and parties that align with their values and vision,” she stated.
