“Nisaidie” Man Carrying Bible Breaches Security and Runs Toward Ruto During Speech on Podium

A man rushed toward President William Ruto while he was speaking at the podium during the Thanksgiving service for Sports PS Fikirini Jacobs at Gazen in Kilifi County.
The man was dressed in a black t-shirt and was carrying what looked like a Bible ran towards Ruto, reached out to him, and told him to help him.
The man said he travelled all the way from Nairobi to attend the event.
“Nisaidie nimetoka Nairobi,” the man is heard saying.
Ruto’s Speech Briefly Interrupted
Ruto’s speech was briefly interrupted as security moved to contain the man who was talking to the President.
“Leave him alone, wachana na huyo kijana,” Ruto is heard shouting.

Ruto is heard telling security to leave the biy alone while they seem not to listen as they take the man away from the podium regardless.
President Ruto has faced similar issues like this one where people run toward him while giving speeches and this is not the first one.
Similar Incidents
One of the most widely reported cases happened in Migori County in May 2025 during a public rally where Ruto was addressing the residents on economic issues.
While he was speaking, a person from the crowd threw a shoe toward him while he was speaking.
Another similar case is when he was at one of the public functions where he was presiding over a government youth empowerment programme.
A man suddenly ran from the crowd and sprinted toward the podium while the President was mid-speech.
Incidents Of Crowd Chanting
Another incident took place while Ruto was addressing a crowd at the Wajir Stadium during a Capital Disbursement Forum.

An unidentified man in a white shirt and jeans breached the security lines and ran up to the podium from behind.
President Ruto has also faced hostility from crowds multiple times while giving a speech. In different occassions Kenyans have chanted words like “uongo” , ” wantam” among others.
