Everett Aviation Announces Vacancies for Helicopter Pilots, Engineers and Technicians

Everett Aviation, through the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), has announced new job opportunities for qualified helicopter pilots, engineers, and technicians.
In a notice dated June 1, 2026, the company is looking to recruit professionals with experience on the BK117C2 helicopter and related aircraft systems.
The company is seeking experienced helicopter pilots to serve as BK117C2 commanders.
Applicants must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), a current BK117C2 type rating, and a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
Candidates should also have at least 3,000 total flying hours on helicopters, including 1,500 hours in command and 1,250 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine helicopters.
The company also requires applicants to have 500 hours on aircraft of similar complexity and 100 hours PIC on the BK117C2 type.
Pilots with at least 50 hours of Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) experience will have an added advantage.
Everett Aviation Invites Engineers with BK117C2 Experience to Apply
The aviation company is also recruiting helicopter engineers who hold BK117C2 type ratings.
Applicants must have type ratings on the BK117C2 helicopter and Arriel 1 engines. Everett Aviation prefers candidates with three to five years of proven experience working on the aircraft type.
Everett Aviation has also opened opportunities for licensed helicopter engineers who may not yet hold a BK117C2 type rating.
Candidates with Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) licences, ratings on other helicopter types, and two to five years of experience can apply.
The company said successful applicants who demonstrate strong technical skills, teamwork, and commitment may qualify for a BK117C2 type-rating training course.

Technicians Also Required
The company is seeking helicopter technicians with at least a certificate in basic aircraft maintenance covering airframes and engines from a recognized institution.
Applicants should have a minimum of three years of aircraft maintenance experience and a good understanding of maintenance procedures and Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
