Paris Lounge Along Mirema Drive Announces Closure After 5 Years

Paris Lounge, located along Mirema Drive in Roysambu, has announced its closure after serving customers for five years.

According to a statement, Paris Lounge expressed gratitude to its customers and supporters for their continued patronage over the years.

“Every story has a final chapter… and this is the end of an unforgettable era for Paris Lounge & Grill. Thank you for the love, the nights, the music, and the memories. The curtain falls, but the legacy lives on,” the statement read.

For five years, Paris Lounge functioned as a central hub for social gatherings and celebrations for may Kenyans. It was a nightclub that many enjoyed being at.

Paris Lounge Closes After 5 years

Following the announcement, Kenyans have taken to social media to share emotional, humorous, and reflective reactions.

Some expressed deep appreciation for the popular nightlife spot, describing it as a place filled with memorable experiences.

“Good music, great memories, and a place that felt like home. Thank you for the moments. You will be deeply missed,”

Others applauded the entertainment hub for its service over the years and wished the team well in their next chapter.

“Shukran Paris for believing in us… It was a pleasure working with you… Najua next level will be unstoppable,” another comment read.

Meanwhile, the closure also triggered light-hearted and emotional reactions from patrons who had frequented the lounge, with some describing the closure as a sign to stop parting, reflecting the strong attachment many had to the venue.

Platinum 7D Club in Nakuru Closes

Elsewhere, after 14 years, the iconic Platinum 7D nightclub permanently closed its doors in May 2026.

The celebrated establishment, long considered the heartbeat of the Rift Valley city’s leisure economy, succumbed to a toxic cocktail of suffocating economic conditions and an aggressive new taxation regime.

In an emotional message to its loyal clients, the club’s management stated that an unsustainable business environment, characterized by skyrocketing operational costs and state levies, had contributed to their closure.

This marked the end of an era, leaving dozens of employees destitute and stripping Nakuru of a major cultural landmark.
