To help transporters and avoid delays in the approval process, the authority has granted a further 10-day extension for both expired permits and new applications.
Under the new directive, trucks operating with expired permits will be allowed to continue transporting the cargo specified in their permits until June 19, 2026.
KeNHA also extended the deadline for new permit applications, giving transporters until June 19, 2026, to submit their requests through the permit’s portal.
Transporters seeking clarification or assistance can contact the Authority through its toll-free line 0800 211 244, customer care number 0700 423 606, or email complaints@kenha.co.ke.
