Kamau wa Kisumu Accuses Senator Karen Nyamu of Leaving Hotel Without Paying Bill

A public dispute has broken out between Kamau wa Kisumu and nominated senator Karen Nyamu after the businessman accused her of failing to pay a bill at his hotel near Mama Lucy Hospital.

Kamau claims the senator visited his hotel, ordered food and drinks for several people, and then promised to pay later.

However, Nyamu has dismissed the allegations and instead accused Kamau of previously damaging her reputation and that of President William Ruto.

Kamau Calls Out Senator Karen Nyamu for Leaving Without Paying Hotel Bill

According to Kamau, the senator visited his hotel and ordered fries, soda, and other food items for a group of people.

He said he was excited to host the politician, viewing the visit as a blessing and an opportunity for his business to gain visibility through association with a prominent public figure.

Kamau alleges that after the meal, Nyamu requested his M-Pesa number and assured him that payment would be made later.

However, he claims several days have passed without any payment being made and that the senator has allegedly stopped responding to his calls.

Karen Nyamu Responds to Claims of Leaving Hotel Bill

Meanwhile, Karen Nyamu denied any wrongdoing and said her actions were motivated by what she described as revenge against Kamau.

She alleged that Kamau had previously appeared in several media interviews where he criticised both her and President William Ruto.

Speaking in a video response, Nyamu claimed she encountered Kamau while attending to her own business near Mama Lucy Hospital and recognised him as the same individual who had publicly spoken against her and the President.

According to Nyamu, she encouraged people who were with her and others she met to eat at Kamau’s establishment.

“I have no other way to revenge for what you did at that moment. You destroyed me. You destroyed the President,” Karen said.

The senator further suggested that she had no intention of paying for the meals and even threatened to send more people to eat at the establishment.

“I want to send others to come and eat there. Eat. And then I want them to send money and then reverse their money and come back,” she said.

Nyamu also accused Kamau wa Kisumu of attempting to damage her political career through his public comments and media appearances.

 Previous Claims Against President Ruto

Kamau wa Kisumu previously gained national attention after posting a viral video in which he claimed he had been misled following a visit to State House.

At the time, he alleged that he had expected to receive a motorcycle after meeting President William Ruto but never received it.

His claims attracted widespread media coverage, leading to appearances on several television and online platforms.

Nyamu referenced those interviews in her response, arguing that Kamau’s criticism of the President had influenced her decision to act against him.
