How to Book a Kenya Airways Flight Online

Kenya Airways now allows booking operations online and has compelled passengers to conduct all inquiries related to flight searches, seating arrangements and payments through kenyaairways.com.

This development comes at a time when many travelers are opting for self-service solutions when planning and booking their international and domestic business and leisure journeys.

Kenya Airways stated that the transition to the online sales portal aims to improve service delivery by minimizing wait times, lowering costs of operations and availing passengers complete autonomy over their travel plans.

Kenya Airways Booking and Seat Selection Process

All passengers initiate bookings on the Kenya Airways web portal by keying their point of origin, destination, dates of travel, and number of passengers into the available widget located at the homepage.

The widget then automatically brings up a list of all available flights based on the specified conditions, offering comparative information about flight schedules and fare prices before passengers make selections for both legs of their trips.

After a flight is chosen, travelers insert their relevant details and proceed with ticketing, where Kenya Airways guides them through additions to their journey.

Travelers may choose extras such as extra baggage, a special meal, or designated seats, which Kenya Airways presents under various plans, including Economy Max, Economy Comfort (offering an extra eight centimeters of legroom) and premium paid options such as Extra Legroom Seats, Preferred Seats and Exit Row Seats.

The airline mentioned that the possibility of selecting any seats depends on the available seating arrangements when you make a booking request.

Early seat bookings can only be made after the purchase of your airline tickets, while certain seats might be held for operational or security purposes.

Bassinet seats for passengers with children or an infant on board are offered free of charge by the airline to accompanying adults.
