Treasury Shortlists 16 Candidates for National Infrastructure Fund Board, Announces Interview Dates

The National Treasury has announced 16 shortlisted candidates for interviews to fill vacancies on the Board of the National Infrastructure Fund (NIF), following a competitive recruitment process that attracted 78 applications.

In a notice issued by the National Infrastructure Fund Governance Council, the shortlisted candidates were invited for interviews scheduled for June 29 and 30, 2026.

“Pursuant to section 13 of the National Infrastructure Fund Act, 2026, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury invited applications from suitably qualified persons for the vacant position of Mariber, the Board of National Infrastructure Fund [MF] [Advertised in print media in April 2020],” read part of the statement.

Treasury Names 16 Finalists for National Infrastructure Fund Board Interviews

According to the treasury, accounting, finance, legal, and quantity surveying candidates will be interviewed on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Civil engineering and investment banking candidates will appear before the interview panel on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Additionally, the National Treasury directed all shortlisted candidates to report to the interview venue at least 15 minutes before their scheduled interview time.

“Reporting Time: Candidates are requested to be at the venue at least fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled interview time.”

Candidates have also been instructed to present original and copy documents, including their national identity cards or passports, academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and supporting documents.

In addition, applicants must provide valid clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), and a registered Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
