Motor vehicle owners in Kenya can pay their annual road licence fees online through the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) services on the eCitizen platform.
The process is fully digital and allows payments through M-Pesa, bank transfer, mobile banking, and debit or credit cards.
The road licence is a legal requirement in Kenya that allows a vehicle to be used on public roads.

Before renewing your annual road licence, ensure you have:
- A valid eCitizen account
- Your vehicle registration number
- National ID number
- Valid motor vehicle insurance cover
- Any required vehicle inspection certificate, where applicable
