Why the PSV Badge Is Important

The PSV badge confirms that a driver has met the legal requirements to operate a public service vehicle in Kenya.

It is mandatory for drivers of matatus, buses, taxis, school transport vehicles, and other licensed public transport vehicles.

Driving a PSV without a valid badge and licence is an offence under Kenyan traffic laws and may lead to penalties or other legal action.
