Content Creators’ Association Demands Public Apology From Sheryl Gabriella, Baha Over Leaked Nudes

The Digital Content Creators Association of Kenya (DCCAK) has issued a public statement calling on Sheryl Gabriella and Robert Mbaya, popularly known as Baha, to issue a public apology after their nude content got leaked.

In a statement dated July 20 2026, DCCAK said the content associated with the two creators that is making rounds on social media has raised concerns about ethical standards in Kenya’s digital content industry.

The two creators’ nude videos got leaked separately on social media and since then, netizens have been making comments regarding the videos, with many saying the creators have no real work but share nude content for a living.

The association stated that it has consistently advocated for responsible digital content and the promotion of a safe, ethical and professional digital environment.

Seven Days To Apologise

DCCAK says its goal is to help digital content creators and influencers attract increased corporate advertising and investment similar to traditional media outlets.

It further said that content it considers obscene, pornographic or promoting hate-driven narratives will undermine the credibility of Kenya’s digital content industry and will also discourage corporate brands from making an investment.

Sheryl and Baha have been given seven days to issue a public apology across all their social media platforms and failure to do so may result in the matter being presented to relevant authorities.

According to the statement, digital platform companies such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube may be engaged regarding the removal of content and the permanent deactivation of the accounts found to violate policies.

Content Creators Warned

All digital content creators have been reminded that online platforms should be used responsibly and according to Kenya’s laws and values.

Other individuals, such as Alicia Kanini, are also being monitored over concerns and allegations that their content undermines the ethical standards.

As the two nude videos of Sheryl and Baha continue making rounds on social media, neither of them has made a public apology regarding the matter or responded to the statement by DCCAK.
