PSC Announces 131 Job Vacancies Across Ministries and Public Universities

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has advertised 131 job vacancies across government ministries, public universities and the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), inviting qualified Kenyans to apply.

The vacancies include senior university leadership positions, foreign service, correctional services and NG-CDF board appointments, a recruitment notice by the Commission says.

The largest recruitment is for the Foreign Service Cadet/Third Secretary Cadet position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with PSC looking to fill 100 vacancies at Job Group CSG 11.

Job Vacancies and Recruitment Opportunities Advertised by the Public Service Commission (PSC)

The Commission is also hiring 20 Instructor III positions and five Hospitality Officer II positions with the State Department for Correctional Services.

The PSC in the university category has advertised one vacancy each for Vice Chancellor at Bomet University, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration, Finance and Planning) at the Technical University of Mombasa, Principal at Kabarak University College, Deputy Principal (Academics, Research, Extension and Student Affairs) and Deputy Principal (Administration, Planning and Finance).

The Commission is also looking for one Member of the Board of Directors for the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) under the National Treasury and Economic Planning.

“Qualified persons are invited to apply for the following positions,” PSC said in the notice.

Interested applicants have been directed by the Commission to visit its official website for detailed job descriptions, qualifications, and application procedures.

Fraudulent Activities and Warnings Related to Job Recruitment

The PSC also warned Kenyans against fraudsters posing as Commission staff and soliciting bribes from the public.

“Beware of fraudsters soliciting bribes from the public while masquerading as Commission staff,” the notice reads.

The Commission stressed that it does not charge any fee for job applications, shortlisting, interviews or appointments.

Interested applicants are expected to apply within the timelines indicated for each vacancy on the Commission’s official recruitment platform.

Opportunities exist in diplomacy, higher education leadership and public administration in the latest recruitment drive, as the government looks to fill key positions across several institutions.
