Pauline Njoroge Resigns From Jubilee Party, Reveals Her Next Political Move

Pauline Njoroge has resigned from the Jubilee Party after 14 years, ending her tenure as the party’s Deputy Organizing Secretary to dedicate herself fully to the Linda Mwananchi movement.
In a statement issued on July 21, Pauline Njoroge announced her resignation from both the Jubilee Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) and the party itself, saying the decision marked the beginning of a new chapter in her political journey.
“For the last fourteen years, I have walked an incredible political journey. Today, however, I believe the time has come to embrace a new chapter. I therefore wish to announce my resignation from the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Jubilee Party, where I have served as Deputy Organizing Secretary, and as a member of the Jubilee Party, effective today,” read part of the statement .
Pauline Njoroge Resigns From Jubilee Party After 14 Years
Pauline stated that she joined The National Alliance (TNA) in 2012 as a Communications Manager and continued serving after the party merged with the United Republican Party (URP) to form the Jubilee Party.
She described the past 14 years as transformative, saying they had sharpened her skills in politics and strategic communications while giving her the opportunity to serve during one of Kenya’s most significant political periods.

The former Jubilee organizing secretary also expressed gratitude to former President Uhuru Kenyatta, describing him as a mentor, teacher and political father who entrusted her with leadership responsibilities and supported her personal and professional growth.
“I am especially grateful to the Jubilee Party Leader, H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, who has been more than a leader to me. He has been a mentor, a teacher and a political father. He believed in me, entrusted me with responsibility and invested in my growth,” Pauline stated.
According to Njoroge, Kenyatta also exposed her to leadership and governance experiences both within Africa and internationally, broadening her understanding of public service.
“Beyond the opportunities he gave me here at home, he also exposed me to leadership and governance experiences across Africa and internationally, broadening both my perspective and my understanding of public service,” read part of the statement.
Involvement in Linda Mwananchi Activities
She further revealed that she had been part of the Linda Mwananchi movement since February and had become increasingly convinced that it represents a platform capable of advancing the aspirations of young Kenyans.
Additionally , Pauline Njoroge argued that the movement advocates for good governance, the rule of law, constitutionalism, accountability and servant leadership, values she believes are essential for the country’s future.

She added that her convictions also align with the broader WANTAM call, which she described as a push not only for political transition but also for national renewal founded on integrity, constitutionalism and people-centred leadership.
“It is for this reason that I have made the difficult but deeply considered decision to dedicate myself fully to this cause. In doing so, I bring to a close a remarkable fourteen-year chapter in a party that has been my political home,” she said.
Despite leaving Jubilee, Njoroge said she does so with gratitude, valued friendships and immense respect for the party and the leaders she served alongside throughout her political journey and added that Kenya deserves leadership that listens to citizens, promotes unity and places people at the centre of governance.
