Mombasa County Announces 76 Job Opportunities – How to Apply

The Mombasa County Public Service Board has announced 76 job opportunities across 20 positions in various departments of the County Government of Mombasa.
In a notice dated August 8, the county said the advertised positions are available in the departments of Transport, Infrastructure and Governance, Lands, Urban Planning and Housing, Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital, and Education and Vocational Training.
The board said it is seeking suitable, qualified and competent persons to fill the advertised positions, with the positions offered on three-year contracts.
“The Mombasa County Public Service Board is looking for suitable, qualified and competent persons to fill in the following positions in the County Government of Mombasa,” read part of the notice.
Mombasa County Advertises Engineering and Survey Jobs
According to the notice, the Transport, Infrastructure and Governance department has several opportunities for professionals in technical fields.
The advertised positions include Architect II, Quantity Surveyor II, Surveyor II (Engineering), Surveyor II (Geospatial), Engineer II (Mechanical), Engineer II (Structural) and Engineer II (Electrical). The positions fall under various job groups, including K 1, K 2 and K 3.
The county also advertised four positions under the Lands, Urban Planning and Housing department. These include Deputy Director, Land Survey and Mapping, Chief Land Surveyor, Land Valuer and Cartography Assistant. The positions are classified under Job Groups Q 1, M 3, K 2 and H 2.

Health Sector Jobs at Coast General Hospital
In addition, Mombasa County announced several vacancies at Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital.
The advertised positions include Registered Nurse I – Theatre Nurse, Sonographer, Medical Specialist I (Radiologist), Medical Specialist I (Neurosurgeon), Senior Medical Specialist (Paediatric Intensivist) and Support Staff Porters.
Meanwhile, some of the medical positions are re-advertisements, while the Support Staff Porters position has 12 posts.
Additional vacancies have been announced under the Education and Vocational Training department.
The positions include Youth Polytechnic Instructor III, Assistant Youth Polytechnic Instructor, and Accountant I, with 15 posts and two posts for Accountant I.
Interested candidates have been directed to submit their applications through the Mombasa County Public Service Board’s online recruitment portal.
Applicants can access the recruitment platform through the Mombasa County Public Service Board Recruitment Portal.
The board urged suitable and competent candidates to apply for the positions through the designated online platform.
