Wiper Party Reveals Application Fees for 2027 Aspirants

The Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) has opened registration for aspirants seeking to contest various elective positions on its ticket in the August 10, 2027 General Election.

The party’s National Elections Board has invited interested candidates to register as WPF aspirants by October 3, 2026, and has also opened applications for people seeking nomination through party lists.

“The Wiper Patriotic Front invites persons interested to vie for various positions in the 10th August 2027 General Election on a WPF ticket to Register as WPF ASPIRANTS on or before 3rd October, 2026,” the notice stated.

Wiper Patriotic Front Opens 2027 Aspirant Registration

To apply, interested candidates must complete the registration process online through the party’s website.

The exercise covers several elective positions, including governor, senator, Member of the National Assembly, County Woman Representative and Member of the County Assembly.

In addition, WPF has invited people seeking nomination through its various party-list categories to register.

“Those interested in being Nominated by WPF in the various categories (Party Lists) are also invited to register. The complete online form is at https://wiper.co.ke/aspirants,” the part stated.

WPF Announces Application Fees

Meanwhile, the party has set application fees according to the position an aspirant seeks and their category.

  • Governor: KSh 50,000 for general applicants and KSh 25,000 for women, youth and persons with disabilities.
  • Senator: KSh 20,000 for general applicants and KSh 10,000 for women, youth and persons with disabilities.
  • Member of National Assembly: KSh 20,000 for general applicants and KSh 10,000 for women, youth and persons with disabilities.
  • County Woman Representative: KSh 20,000 for general applicants and KSh 10,000 for women, youth and persons with disabilities.
  • Member of County Assembly (MCA): KSh 10,000 for general applicants and KSh 5,000 for women, youth and persons with disabilities.

For payment, WPF has directed aspirants to use the party’s Co-operative Bank of Kenya account at the Parliament Branch. Applicants should use account number 01120199325701 and the account name Wiper Patriotic Front.

Alternatively, candidates can pay through Paybill 400200 using 1930930 as the account number. They should then enter the amount corresponding to the position they intend to contest.

WPF Urges Aspirants to Confirm Membership

Beyond paying the application fee, prospective candidates must confirm their WPF membership status before completing the registration process.

Consequently, individuals who are not WPF members must first register for party membership through the party’s website before applying to become aspirants.

“All Aspirants are advised to reconfirm their WPF membership status through USSD Code *509# (and follow the prompts). If you are not a WPF Member, go to our website and register to be a member,” the party added.

WPF has urged interested candidates to complete their applications before the October 3, 2026 deadline.
