Kenya Meteorological Department (Kenya Met) has issued a five-day weather forecast from November 21 to November 25.

In a publication dated November 20, 2025, Kenya Met said rainfall is expected in some parts of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, and the South-eastern lowlands.

However, some parts of the country are likely to be sunny and dry.

The forecast also reviews maximum temperatures and minimum temperatures for various places across the country.

Highlands West of the Rift Valley & Lake Victoria Basin

This region comprises counties like Nandi, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Siaya, Busia, Baringo, Nakuru, Trans-Nzoia, Uasin-Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, West-Pokot, Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Bomet, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, and Narok.

Morning rains and sunny intervals are likely to occur.

Sunny intervals are expected during the day, with partly cloudy conditions at night.

Maximum temperatures will not exceed 30°C while minimum temperatures will not drop below 08°C.

North-western Kenya

Turkana and Samburu Counties are likely to experience sunny intervals during the day, with partly cloudy conditions at night.

Maximum temperature will be 37°C while minimum will not be below 08°C.

Highlands East of the Rift Valley

The region comprises Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka-Nithi and Nairobi Counties.

According to Kenya Met, cloudy, breaking into sunny intervals in the morning.

Nights will be partly cloudy with a chance of a few showers.

However, there is a chance of afternoon showers and sunny intervals occurring in a few places.

Maximum temperatures will not exceed 28°C while minimum temperatures will not drop below 07°C.

North-eastern Kenya

This region has five counties, which include Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo.

Morning rains are likely to occur and sunny interval.

Afternoon showers and sunny intervals may occur in a few places.

Partly cloudy conditions at night.

Maximum temperatures will not exceed 38°C while minimum temperatures will not fall below 16°C.

The South-eastern lowlands

Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado, and Taita-Taveta Counties, as well as the inland parts of Tana-River, are counties in this region.

In the morning, rain and sunny intervals may occur in a few places.

Sunny intervals and showers are expected during the day, with partly cloudy conditions at night.

Maximum temperatures will be around 34°C, while the minimum temperature will be 14°C.

The Coast

Morning and afternoon showers are likely to occur over a few places

Sunny intervals are expected during the day..

Nights will be partly cloudy.

Maximum temperatures will not exceed 34 °C, while minimum temperatures will not be below 24 °C

Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale Counties, as well as the coastal parts of Tana River, are counties found in the coastal region.
