Agricultural Finance Corporation Announces Job Vacancies: How to Apply

The Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) has announced 10 job vacancies in its legal and human resource departments.

The board invites qualified Kenyans to apply before the deadline of August 3, 2026.

In a recruitment notice, the state corporation stated it is looking to fill five positions.

These include:

• Chief Human Capital and Administration Officer.
• Corporation Secretary and Chief Legal Services Officer.
• Head of Legal.
• Legal Officers.
• Legal Assistants.

According to the notice, AFC has one opening each for Chief Human Capital and Administration Officer, Corporation Secretary and Chief Legal Services Officer, and Head of Legal.

Requirements and Procedures for Applying to Positions at the Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC)

It is also hiring four Legal Officers and three Legal Assistants, bringing the total number of positions available to 10.

“The Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) is the leading Government Credit Institution tasked with providing credit to develop agriculture,” said the corporation in the notice.

AFC stated that applications must be submitted online through its recruitment portal www.agrifinance.org.

Applicants need to include a cover letter, an updated curriculum vitae, copies of academic certificates, a national identity card, and any additional supporting documents.

The corporation noted that successful candidates must also provide compliance documents under Chapter Six of the Constitution.

This includes a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Tax Compliance Certificate, a Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance Certificate, and an Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) clearance certificate.

Application Process and Deadline for Job Openings

The application deadline is set for Monday, August 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

AFC encouraged qualified candidates from all backgrounds to apply, emphasizing that it is an equal opportunity employer.

“People with disabilities, the marginalized, and minorities are encouraged to apply,” said the corporation.

The corporation also warned that any form of canvassing or failure to provide all required information will result in automatic disqualification.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted after the recruitment process ends.
