A bus ferrying passengers has overturned at Kapmakaa, Chepsir in Kericho County, leaving several people with injuries.
Hivileo.co.ke has established that the bus belongs to the Climax Coach transport company.
Images shared on social media show a bus overturned on the side of the road, with several injured people lying on the roadside.
Reports indicate the accident occurred along the busy Nakuru–Eldoret Highway near Mau Summit, Chepsir, in Kericho County.
In May the same year, at least 20 passengers were injured and rushed to local hospitals when a Nairobi-bound Climax coach overturned at the Kimende blackspot on the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.
The bus is said to have rolled several times before coming to a stop, leaving passengers with injuries.
Emergency response teams and good Samaritans rushed to the scene as rescue operations continued.
A Cannan Hospital emergency ambulance was among those seen at the scene of the accident.

In December last year, former Lugari Member of Parliament Cyrus Jirongo died after his vehicle entered the highway and was involved in a fatal head-on collision with a Nairobi-to-Busia Climax bus at Karai, Naivasha.
The crash involved a Climax bus travelling from Nairobi to Busia and made headlines after the fatal accident.

In May that year, at least 20 passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals after a Nairobi-bound Climax coach overturned at the Kimende blackspot along the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway.
In a separate incident the same month, a Climax bus travelling from Busia to Nairobi lost control and veered into a ditch in the Awasi area along the Nairobi–Kisumu Highway, leaving several passengers injured.
