PSG head coach Luis Enrique will aim to defend the Champions League title after guiding the French side to their first-ever crown in the 2024/2025 season. On the other hand, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is seeking to deliver the North London club’s first Champions League trophy.
This will be Arsenal’s second appearance in a Champions League final. The English side previously reached the final in 2006 but lost 2-1 to Barcelona in Paris. PSG also has a similar experience in the competition, having lost to Bayern Munich in the 2020 final.

Speaking after Arsenal celebrated their Premier League triumph at Selhurst Park, Arteta said his players are fully motivated to complete a historic double by winning the Champions League.

The Arsenal boss said the squad was already focused on the final in Budapest and eager to make more history.
“We’ve already discussed what we have to do in Budapest and how we’re going to channel all the incredible energy we’re carrying towards that final,” Arteta said.
He added that the players are highly motivated ahead of the clash.
“We can’t wait to write a new chapter in our club’s history and lift the Champions League,” he said
Luis Enrique Cautious of Arsenal Threat
Luis Enrique admitted Arsenal will be a tough opponent but said PSG are ready for the challenge as they chase back-to-back Champions League titles.
Speaking during a press conference, the PSG coach praised Arsenal for their impressive season and said they deserved to win the Premier League.
“We have already played against this Arsenal side, so we know what they are capable of,” Luis Enrique said.

He described Arsenal as one of the best teams in the world both in attack and defence.
“Without the ball, they are one of the best teams in the world, and with it, they can score a lot,” he said.
Luis Enrique added that the Champions League final promises to be an exciting contest.
“It makes sense that we are facing them in the final. We can look forward to a truly great final,” he said.
