IEBC Announces Job Vacancies for Director Positions: Requirements and How to Apply

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced vacancies for seven director-level positions, with the recruitment process being conducted by JKUAT Enterprises Ltd (JKUATES).
In a notice dated August 4, JKUATES said it is seeking suitably qualified, experienced, result-oriented and highly motivated individuals to fill the senior positions at the commission.
“The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), is seeking suitably qualified, experienced, result-oriented and highly motivated individuals to fill the following vacant positions,” read part of the notice.
IEBC Opens Applications for Seven Director Positions
According to the recruitment notice, all the advertised positions are at Job Grade 3, with one vacancy available for each role.

How to apply
Interested candidates are required to access the detailed job descriptions and application guidelines through the JKUATES e-recruitment platform.
According to the IEBC, applicants must upload a signed application letter, a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) indicating current and previous employers, positions held, and the names of at least three professional referees.
In addition, applicants are required to submit a copy of their National Identity Card and copies of all academic and professional certificates. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, August 17, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
IEBC added that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Further, the Commission stated that it is an equal opportunity employer and encouraged applications from youth, women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and candidates from marginalized communities.
IEBC also warned that canvassing, falsifying documents, or misrepresenting qualifications will result in automatic disqualification from the recruitment process.
