The Trans Nzoia County Public Service Board has announced 23 job vacancies across various departments, opening opportunities for qualified applicants seeking to join the county public service.

The vacancies cover human resource management, clinical care, nursing and support services as the county seeks competent and qualified individuals to fill the positions.

Trans Nzoia County Opens 23 Vacancies Across Departments

The advertised positions include:

  • Principal Human Resource Management Officer – 1 position, Job Group N (CPSB 06), Advert No. TCPSB/EX/29/2026.
  • Registered Clinical Officer I (Nephrology) – 2 positions, Job Group K (CPSB 09), Advert No. TCPSB/EX/30/2028.
  • Registered Clinical Officer I (Critical Care) – 2 positions, Job Group K (CPSB 09), Advert No. TCPSB/EX/31/2025.
  • Registered Nurse I (Critical Care) – 8 positions, Job Group K (CPSB 09), Advert No. TCPSB/EX/32/2026.
  • Registered Nurse I (Renal) – 8 positions, Job Group K (CPSB 09), Advert No. TCPSB/EX/33/2026.
  • Senior Support Staff – 2 positions, Job Group D (CPSB 15), Advert No. TCPSB/EX/34/2026.

How to Apply

Interested and qualified applicants should make their applications online through the Trans Nzoia County Public Service Board website.

Applicants must provide all the details requested in the advertisement and ensure that the information they submit is accurate. The Board has warned that providing incorrect information is an offence.

“Applicants should provide all the details requested in the advertisement on the County Public Service Board’s website. It is an offence to include incorrect information in the application. Details of academic and professional certificates not obtained by the closure of the advert should not be included,” the board stated.

Clearance Documents Required From Successful Candidates

Only successful candidates will be required to provide the necessary clearance documents:

  • Clearance from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
  • Clearance from the Criminal Investigations Department;
  • The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission clearance (EACC);
  • Kenya Revenue Authority clearance (Tax Compliance Certificate).

Meanwhile, shortlisted candidates must present their original academic and professional certificates during the interview.

The Board has warned that presenting fake certificates or documents is a criminal offence. It has also cautioned applicants against canvassing, which will lead to automatic disqualification.

Applicants must ensure that their applications reach the Board on or before September 3, 2026, at 5.00 p.m. EAT.
