Kenya Airports Authority Advertises 4 Tenders: How to Apply

The Kenya Airports Authority has issued four tenders set to close on 4 June 2026 at 11 a.m. for electronic records management, supply of corporate and events materials, airport infrastructure improvements, and cybersecurity systems.

KAA published the tenders this week, inviting bidders to compete for contracts expected to run through and beyond the 2025/2026 financial year.

The procurement process aims to strengthen KAA’s modernization efforts and enhance security across airports in the country.

One of the tenders is a technical bid seeking a service provider for the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) Phase II, which will automate the Authority’s registry operations.

Kenya Airports Authority Tenders and Procurement Opportunities

There is a pre-bid meeting and site visit scheduled for the 27 th of May 2026 at 10 am to be held at the Primary Data Center Conference Room, located at the Authority’s Headquarters in Nairobi.

The second is for the pre-qualification of suppliers of corporate events, merchandise, and apparel in the financial year 2026 to 2029.

This tender is divided into three lot categories:

  • The provision of events management services to the Authority,
  • Provision of PPE and sports regalia for the Authority’s events, and also the supply of sports equipment for official team sport and
  • Provision of corporate wear and uniforms.

The third tender is for ground and slope stabilization works at Moi International Airport, Mombasa, where a pre-bid site visit has been scheduled for May 28, 2026, at 10 am at the airport.

The last bid is for the provision of a Cyber Privileged Access Management System, intended to secure all sensitive data held by KAA across its IT systems.

Documents can be obtained free of charge from the KAA website, the supplier portal at https://suppliers.kaa.go.ke/irj/portal, and the Public Procurement Information Portal at http://www.tenders.go.ke.

Bids are expected to be submitted via the tender portal.

“Canvassing for a tenderer or on behalf of one by another firm or individual, either directly or indirectly, shall lead to automatic disqualification of that tenderer,” the notice warned.
