Kenya Railways Announces Senior Management Jobs: How to Apply

Kenya Railways has invited qualified Kenyans to apply for two senior management positions as the corporation seeks to strengthen its technical and compliance functions.
KR invited applications for the posts of Quality Assurance & Risk Coordination Manager and Signaling, Electrical and Communications Manager.
Both positions have been classified under RG 3, and there is one post each for the said positions under references KRBR161 and KRBR163
KR has laid down the following basic requirements for all applicants.
They are;
- Signed application letter,
- Comprehensive curriculum vitae showing present and previous employers.
- Occupation/duties.
- Level of education.
- Current and expected salary.
- Notice period.
- Three professional referees’ names.
- Copies of academic and professional certificates.
- National ID or passport copies.
The corporation warned that any supply of wrong information is punishable.
“It is an offence to include incorrect information in the application” and “It is a criminal offence to present fake certificates/documents,” KR stated.
The company will only contact shortlisted candidates to attend interviews, during which they will present original copies of their National Identification cards, along with their academic and professional certificates.
The company advised job seekers to be aware of fraudsters who steal the company name to defraud money.
Successful applicants should bring the following documents (Chapter Six clearance certificates, i.e., Certificate of Good Conduct from DCI, HELB clearance, KRA Tax Compliance, EACC clearance, and CRB report)

The corporation also states that hard copies will not be received, and only Kenyan citizens are eligible to apply.
