KNEC Announces 2026–2027 TVET Examination Registration Dates

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC)has announced the registration dates for the 2026–2027 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) examinations, covering the November 2026, March 2027, and July 2027 series.
In a notice dated June 2, 2026, the council announced that registration for the November 2026 Business and Technical examinations will begin on July 6, 2026.
All candidates are required to register online through the official KNEC portals at https://www.knec.ac.ke/our-portals/.
“Registration of candidates for the November 2026 Business and Technical examinations will commence on 6th July 2026. Registration for all examinations is done online via the link: https://www.knec.ac.ke/our-portals/,” read part of the notice.

According to the schedule released by KNEC, the registration periods for the three examination series are as follows:

Caution on Late Registration For 2026–2027 TVET Examination
KNEC noted that all institutional candidates, including those undertaking Business Single and Group subjects, must adhere strictly to the set registration periods and examination timelines for each series.

The council further cautioned that there will be no provision for late registration for any of the examination series.
“NOTE: There is no provision for late registration.”
Institutions and candidates have therefore been urged to strictly observe all deadlines to avoid missing out on the examinations.
