Linda Kebati’s Viral Funeral Speech Takes a New Twist as Relatives Reveal Fresh Details About Bosco’s Life

A new twist has emerged in the family dispute surrounding the late Bosco Kebati after his paternal relatives responded to claims made by his daughter, Linda Kebati, during her viral funeral speech.

Speaking during a TikTok Live on September 18, one of Bosco’s relatives, identified as Mariah Moseti, gave a different account of events surrounding the late Kenya Power engineer’s family, his final years, and his retirement benefits.

The relative claimed that Bosco had two families and provided details about his relationship with Linda’s mother, whom she described as his second wife.

Moseti Details Alleged Rift Between Bosco Kebati Families

According to Moseti, Bosco Kebati married Linda’s mother after previously marrying his first wife.

“My uncle married Linda’s mom like 30 years ago. Immediately after Linda’s mom, he married the first wife,” Mariah said.

She claimed that Bosco remained financially responsible for his second wife’s family and supported them while working at Kenya Power, where he was an engineer.

However, Mariah Moseti alleged that tensions later emerged between Bosco’s two families, with disagreements surrounding his relationships and how his resources were shared.

She said the situation affected the children from Bosco’s first family, who she claimed did not receive the same financial support as the second family.

“He had money. Money was not the problem. He used to spend all this money on the second wife and Linda was living the best life. But this other family, mark my words, they didn’t go to school.They didn’t go to college. Yes, because of the second wife.Now, this is where the problem came from,” she alleged.

Moseti alleged that tensions between the two families continued to grow, particularly after Linda’s mother returned to Bosco’s life following a period away.

According to her account, Linda’s mother returned while pregnant, and Moseti made claims about the paternity of one of the children raised within the family.

Bosco’s Health Deteriorated Over Time

Moseti also spoke about Bosco’s health, saying he experienced prolonged periods of illness before his death.

She recalled that Bosco had been in and out of hospital and claimed that he had been admitted to the intensive care unit on more than one occasion.

According to her account, Bosco later retired from Kenya Power and moved to Kisumu with his second wife, where his health subsequently began to deteriorate further.

Mariah claimed that she later visited Bosco in Kisumu with her cousin, whom she identified as a daughter of his first wife, while Linda’s mother was away.

She alleged that after Bosco contacted his wife, she told him to send the two visitors away resulting in a strained relationship between the two sides of the family.

She noted that the incident contributed to the strained relationship between the two sides of the family.

Furthermore, Moseti claimed that Bosco’s condition later worsened while he was in Kisumu, prompting his second wife to send him back to Kisii for care.

She alleged that Linda’s mother then contacted Bosco’s first wife and informed her that he had been sent back.

“She packed my uncle’s clothes in a paper bag. She put him in the car from Kisumu to Kisii. She called the first wife,” Moseti said.

Additionally, Mariah alleged that by the time Bosco was returned to Kisii, arrangements concerning his pension had already been made.

 She said Linda’s mother subsequently received Bosco’s pension payments for about three years.

“And during that time, she had processed everything. Her pension money, Mama Linda was getting,” Moseti claimed.
