Nadia Mukami Reveals Why She Broke Up With Arrow Bwoy

Musician Nadia Mukami has opened up about the reasons behind her breakup with fellow singer Arrow Bwoy, revealing that she ended the relationship because she felt she was carrying it on her own.

Speaking during an interview on Alex Mwakideu TV, Nadia said she was the one making everything work and often felt she was trying too hard to keep the relationship alive.

She stated that the separation came during one of the most difficult periods of her life, when she was heavily pregnant and facing financial challenges.

“Me, I didn’t get time to mourn my relationship because I didn’t have time. I was breastfeeding and went back to work after two months. The separation happened when I was pregnant,” Nadia said.

Nadia further disclosed that she reached a point where she felt the relationship had become one-sided, saying she was the one making everything work and often felt she was trying too hard to keep it alive. She said that was what ultimately led her to end the relationship.

During the interview, radio host Alex Mwakideu asked Nadia whether she still loved Arrow Bwoy.

Nadia responded that she no longer has romantic feelings for the singer.

• Alex Mwakideu: “Nadia Mukami, do you still love Arrow Bwoy?”
• Nadia Mukami: “No, I don’t. I’m only doing my best to maintain a good relationship with him for the sake of our children. We need to raise and take care of them together.”

She explained that although some people have accused her of “simping,” her priority is ensuring that their children grow up in a healthy and supportive environment.

“I’ll do things my way if it means providing the best environment for our kids,” she said.

In addition, Nadia reflected on how much she desired to build a family with Arrow Bwoy, saying she gave everything she could to make the relationship work.

She said she has no regrets because she genuinely wanted to build a stable family for their children and believes she gave the relationship her all.

Singer Says Her Son’s Well-Being Comes Before Everything Else

The Musician noted that while the relationship did not work out as she had hoped, her focus has now shifted to building a better future for herself and her children.

“I don’t have time. All I can think about right now is that we need to make money. We need to build our empire so we can give our children houses and cars. That’s the lifestyle I’ve always wanted,” she said.

Nadia also acknowledged that she is not perfect and may have made mistakes during the relationship, but maintained that she entered it with genuine love and commitment.

Reflecting on the public attention surrounding their breakup, she said people often reminded her how deeply she loved Arrow Bwoy, a sentiment she does not deny.

“Of course, I loved him. That’s what people should do. They should love each other,” she said.

However, Nadia stressed that the greatest pain following the separation has not been about herself but about ensuring their children adjust well to the new family arrangement.

She particularly mentioned their son, Kai, saying he loves his father deeply and often asks questions that she feels responsible for answering in a way that protects his emotional well-being.

Nadia said she was willing to put aside personal feelings and maintain a cordial relationship with Arrow Bwoy if it helped provide a stable environment for their children.
