Nairobi Set to Get New Ksh601 Million Cancer Treatment and Research Hospital

RVL Healthcare Ltd has unveiled plans to build a modern cancer hospital in Nairobi at an estimated cost of Ksh 601 million.
The proposed facility will be located on LR No. 5829/2 (Originally Number 3857/2) in the Nyari area of Nairobi County.
According to project documents, the hospital will serve as a specialized center for cancer treatment, prevention, research, and medical training.
The project is expected to cost approximately Ksh 601.2 million and will include a cancer hospital together with supporting facilities.
Focus on Cancer Treatment and Research
RVL Healthcare says the hospital will be developed as a state-of-the-art cancer treatment and research center.
The facility aims to provide primary, secondary, and tertiary cancer care services while supporting medical research and innovation.
The proposed institution also seeks to become a Centre of Excellence in healthcare and medical sciences.
Besides treating patients, it will support the training and education of physicians, surgeons, medical scientists, and other healthcare professionals.
According to the project proposal, the center will focus on delivering high-quality patient care, advancing medical research, and strengthening medical education.

Patient-Centered Design
The hospital’s design will prioritize patient comfort and healing. RVL Healthcare says the facility will use architecture and landscaping to create a calming environment that supports recovery.

- Promote healing through modern building design and landscaped outdoor spaces
