Oga Obinna Threatens to Sue Majembe Over Vurugu 2 Dispute

Oga Obinna has threatened to sue Majembe over the “Vurugu 2” dispute.

In a video posted on his TikTok page, Obinna said he will take legal action against Majembe for defamation.

He alleged that Majembe is spreading defamatory statements about him.

“Alteration of facts can turn into malice and malice later turns into defamation,” Obinna said.

The Dispute

The dispute started when Majembe withdrew from the upcoming vurugu 2 match saying that Obinna’s team blocked him.

Majembe alleged that Obinna wanted to own and control him and he therefore decided to quit and remove himself from the line up of the Vurugu 2 boxing match.

Obinna has said in his video that Majembe is going to interviews while speaking of things that are not in the contract or are altered.

He then advised Majembe to look for a lawyer to read the contract to him for proper understanding and also to avoid a lawsuit.

Obinna On The Matter

Obinna said that everything was done to protect the commercial interests of the Vurugu 2 match and told Majembe to listen to people who are advising him.

Majembe has been advised by some netizens to just go back and participate in the match. He was told that many people who are telling him to quit will not feed him.

A content creator named Malcom called upon Majembe on social media telling him to stop following advice from people who will not give him any money when things go south.

Meanwhile, the dispute has continued to generate mixed reactions online, with fans divided over whether Majembe should return to Vurugu 2 or maintain his withdrawal.

Online Reactions

Some supporters argue that such promotional disagreements should be handled privately rather than escalating into public exchanges on social media.

Some fans are even telling Obinna to bring back Mbavu destroyer to the Vurugu 2 match.

Mavu Destroyer was in the first Vurugu match where his ipponent was Majembe. Mbavu lost to Majembe and later said that tje match was unfair.

The Majembe and Obinna dispute continues taking place but Obinna has not confirmed any lawsuit against Majembe.

Majembe on the other hand is saying on interviews that he thinks that is the right decision for him and it was not influenced by anyone.
